This acclaimed work from the 1960s was translated to English for the first time and the whole package needed gravitas to reach its audience. Originally told in magazine installments, this "episodic graphic novel" tells the story of a man who returns from the gave each time he's killed, over hundreds of years.

     Seeking something anachronistic and vaguely biblical, I sourced a soft, padded hardcover using two Pantone inks plus metallic foil. Includes a matching sewn-in cloth bookmark.
