Fantagraphics had an outmoded website with obstacles to searchability and payments, with an inconsistent user-experience. With many hundreds of products and unique needs for funneling metadata to online databases, the site had to be rebuilt from scratch and on a tight budget and tighter timeline. Head of Marketing Jacq Cohen and I spearheaded the project with Developer Michiko Swiggs. Designing in Figma for clarity and consistency above all else, we launched the site within months. In the first year, conversion rates saw unprecedented growth and direct online sales YTD doubled.
