BEASTS! is my personal project creating a modern bestiary based on traditional folklore and mythology, as well as eyewitness reports. Pulling together a team of four writers and an editor, I commissioned over 180 global artists from the disparate worlds of Street Art, Skate Graphics, Gigposters, Pop Surrealism, Children's Books, Comix, etc. A sprawling success, the two hardcover volumes were reprinted in paperback and published internationally, including an elaborate single volume translated into Chinese.

I further curated three art shows (including an interactive map of where to find the creatures care of Seattle's Belle & Wissell), numerous nationwide signings with the artists, and a limited edition letterpress print set. The project even inspired a "BEASTS!" television pilot for Dreamworks which sadly remains locked in a vault.
