NIRVANA: Taking Punk to the Masses

Curator: Jacob McMurray (MoPop) w/ Exhibition Design by Belle & Wissell

Branding for one of the centerpiece permanent exhibits of the Museum of Pop Culture. A flexible iconographic design was chosen to navigate between elements of the exhibit that are licensed with Nirvana and those that provide a more general history of the punk/metal/grunge evolution of the Northwest. Gabe Kean's Belle & Wissell expertly wove the iconography into the exhibition space.
